Single (softcover) KADOKAWA / The legendary figure in women's Pro Wrestling showed everything to celebrate her 40th birthday!
Every time I got hurt, I became stronger—
UNAGI SAYAKA, a popular wrestler who calls himself a 'bizarre figure soaring in vivid colors,' continues to captivate audiences with his flashy costumes and overwhelming presence. Currently, he is the most talked-about wrestler in the Pro Wrestling world, and his unique character has earned support both inside and outside the ring.
His captivating presence in the ring is truly a symbol of strength and courage. However, behind his vividly colored appearance lies countless pains and struggles as individuals.
When she steps into the ring, she suffers physical damage; when she steps out, she faces emotional pain and loneliness. Moreover, major challenges like Korakuen Hall and Ryogoku's self-organized events, which became hot topics, brought not only success but also many difficulties for her. Truly, "a stake that sticks out will be driven down"— There were many moments when she was overwhelmed by criticism and nearly lost her confidence. However, despite carrying that "fragility," she never stopped.
This book consists of gravure centered on swimsuits and lingerie, along with essays that reveal her "shocking past" for the first time. Now 40 years old, she sometimes sheds tears and sometimes smiles, overcoming difficulties and discovering her own "strength"—. A book that brings together the charm of UNAGI SAYAKA!
