SummerSlam '92 ★ Macho Man - Ultimate Warrior, WWF New King Legend ★
120 minutes (Japanese version) / Commentary: Fumihiko Saito Play-by-play: So Doi / SPO Co., Ltd.
At the grand stage of the super event 'WrestleMania 8,' the 'Macho Man' Randy Savage, who defeated Ric Flair and finally claimed the long-awaited WWF World Heavyweight Championship, now has the emergence of the strongest challenger. The Ultimate Warrior, who made a WWF mat U-turn as the successor to superhuman Hulk Hogan, announced his challenge for the new champion Savage. Champion Savage responded to this, and the midsummer championship spectacular 'SummerSlam 92' evolved into a human drama about the new emperor (new hero). While Savage's strategist Flair, who had lost the belt, secretly planned a 'title match hijacking operation,' the bell for the new summit battle was sounded. Will Savage, Warrior, or Flair laugh in the end? After Hogan's departure, WWF Turret literally became a lawless zone. (August 29, 1992, London, Wembley Stadium event, attendance 80,355)
